There’s a certain kind of symphony that we experience in every day life. Everywhere we go there is a collection of objects all producing sound. Sometimes it sounds harmonious and other times it sounds cacophonous.

Sitting in my backyard I hear the birds in the tall trees communicating with one another, cars driving by on the small neighborhood street, children laughing and playing in the park behind the fence, and cicadas in the ficus trees roaring like clock work. Similar to instruments, their sounds are distinguishable. They each have a sound of their own, but together they make up the symphony of my backyard.

What does your symphony sound like?
